Soft Proofing

PERFECT Prints with my Soft Proofing Tip Sheet

In General by Glyn3 Comments

Recently I wrote a Tip Sheet explaining how to use Soft Proofing in both Lightroom and Photoshop to ensure you get the VERY BEST results when printing your images.

For years printing foxed me; never could I seem to get the actual print to resemble in colour and brightness to the original image on my computer screen. Sure I did as I was told and calibrated my monitors but still I would be far from happy with the results even when sending off to a Professional Lab such as Loxley Colour. My workaround would be to send off for much sample prints of varying brightness levels to then compare each to the image on screen. The one that matched closest would then tell me what adjustments I need to make before sending off for the big print.

Now this worked to some degree but was still not perfect and in addition was costing me more money. The solution, once I finally got my head around the process was Soft Proofing.

If you’d like to download the PDF Tip Sheet I’ve put together just CLICK HERE, join my Email Group (it’s free) and you’re done! No more printing headaches…I promise.

Right, must dash so have a great weekend and I’ll catch you back here next time.
