    How would you achieve this effect on a crop sensor and speedlights? would you use a 50mm or 40mm, one or two sppedlights in the softbox?

  • It would be down to how much light you need and the location you’re shooting in. If its indoors you could possibly get away with one speed light granted it has enough power and close enough to the subject. In terms of lens, the 50mm would be an equivalent to the 85mm on a full frame sensor on Apsc bodies.
