After a break of over 9 months, last night I made a return to my YouTube LIVE Broadcasts (the break was mainly due to writing my latest book, The Photoshop Toolbox)

During the broadcast I went through the lighting and post production workflow for a recent portrait of Ashton…

Starting by showing the modifier that was used (a Westcott Rapid Box Switch Octa (Medium) 36″) and then looking at the lighting using some software called Set a Light (great for testing set ups)

When we ran through the post production for the portrait I clicked through each layer explaining what it did and how but when we reached the colourising part where I added he unique feel to the picture I went on to show my recipe PLUS a trick / tip for not just creating your own Look Up Table Adjustments in Photoshop. I also went on to show how to use the Creative Cloud Library to store every adjustment so that you can use it again and again but also tweak the settings PLUS the importance of the Alt / Option key when doing so.
